How rankings are determined
The top 100 table is not ranked by Footy Points alone. It uses a combined total.
Ranking formula
Footy Points + Friends + Followers + Referrals + Posts
Each user's ranking total is their Footy Points, plus their friends, followers, referrals, and posts.
What does not count
Following
Following is shown in the table for context, but it does not increase a user's ranking total.
Tie-break order
Footy Points first
If two users have the same combined total, the table falls back to higher Footy Points first, then followers, friends, referrals, posts, and finally name.
Club ranking formula
Joined member totals
The club table adds together the joined members' individual ranking totals. Each member contributes their Footy Points, friends, followers, referrals, and posts. Following does not count for club rank.

Complete your full profile for the first time
+10 FP
Awarded once when all required profile sections for your roles are complete.
Create your first post
+5 FP
Awarded once for your first post on Walking Footy.
Log in each day
+1 FP
Awarded once per day.
Log in on your birthday
+10 FP
Awarded once per year when you sign in on your birthday.
Follow someone for the first time
+5 FP
Awarded once when you follow your first user.
Receive your first follower
+5 FP
Awarded once when someone follows you for the first time.
Hit follower milestones
+5 FP
Awarded at 100, 250, 500, 1000, and every 1000 followers after that.
Make your first friend
+5 FP
Awarded once when you get your first accepted friendship.
Join your first club
+5 FP
Awarded once when your first club membership is approved.
Refer a new member who verifies their account
+10 FP
Both the referrer and the referred member earn 10 Footy Points. Rewarded referrals are capped at 50 per user.
